Beliefs
We believe that the Bible, God’s revealed word to man, is the final rule of authority concerning matters of faith and practice. We stand in line with historic Christian doctrine as taught by Christ to the apostles, preserved in the Holy Scriptures, and proclaimed throughout the history of the church. More specific, we stand in a long line of historic Baptist faith and practice expressed by our Baptist fore fathers. This faith and practice is rooted and grounded in the five major themes of the Protestant Reformation: Sola Scriptura – Scripture Alone, Sola Fide – Faith Alone, Sola Gratia – Grace Alone, Sola Christos – Christ Alone, and Soli Deo Gloria – To The Glory Of God Alone.
We accept the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message as a guide for we believe God’s word teaches concerning the major doctrines of the Christian faith.
